Hello, this post focuses on making the most out of your university experience. College is the time where you work towards getting your degree either to support you in getting your desired role or to help you learning more on about a matter that you are interested in either way college is an investment of both your time and money. Make the most out of it!

Making friend

Please do not just lock yourself in your dorm for all 4 years. Allow yourself a chance to connect with your peers. Those are the same friend that could be your study buddies that you can bounce questions, ideas, and motivate one an other. Friendship do not all have to be about academics join school clubs based off your interests, college events, and talk to someone in your class. Friends open up opportunities like improving your communication skills, more Intel about what is happening around campus, adventure with them, and to grow along side them. During your freshman year you will have a lot of group within a friend group eventually after the first year you find the ones that are truly your friend. College is a new experience so embrace it but stick to your value do not feel the need to agree to everything it is ok to say no you have full autonomy over what happens in your life.

Grades

You will hear the phrase C's get degrees but in reality that is the worst phrase ever. I am serious it has you underestimating your potential. Focus on maintaining your grade and genuinely enjoy the process of learning. Imposter syndrome you just need to focus on what matters at the present moment and how to redirect your focus towards your goals. Once you have graduated you can earner a distinction on your degree it is for those who have a 3.5+ so lets not focus on C get degrees more getting an A. There are honor programs where you get access to benefits according to what your school offers and internship will be requesting a copy of your transcript so aim for an 'A', especially if you want a graduate cord(s). I believe there are two types of people in university those who complain, blaming everything or those that make the best out of the situation that they are in.

Professors

Once your are near your senior or junior year ( depending on if you chose to graduate early) you want to think ahead. Graduate school you will need a letter of recommendation from your professors someone who can people to your character as a student. Professors are professionals in their field so if you would like any advice on working in a certain field drop by office hours or your career center to discuss work opportunities that are currently available.

Student benefits

Paying tuition is expensive but it has its benefits that being the collaboration with companies. You can check on your university subreddit or IT newsletter to see what services are covered under your tuition fees like full access to Peacock, a discount on a Amazon prime membership, and Apple student discount. For some universities offer free therapy. Make sure you identify as many resources that you can because it saves you a lot of money in the long run. Scholarship did not end in highschool keep applying to more because will bring your closer to graduating debt free.
